Kin Tae Kwon Do provides a disciplined yet friendly environment, where respect and safety is constantly reinforced. In training you will not only learn how to effectively defend yourself and others, you will learn a range of skills that help develop physical and mental well-being.

SPARRING

Various sparring drills prepare you for real-life combat situations. Sparring provides the opportunity to work on your defense, your offense, your timing, your distance and your spirit.

GRAPPLING

We focus on throws/takedowns, and on ground-fighting which can include pins, chokes and leverages.  Many styles of Martial Arts are focused on grappling, to be able to effectively defend against these, we incorporate these aspects in training.

DESTRUCTIONS

Are a useful way to test your physical and mental strength through the striking of a board or tile using a practised technique.

BAGWORK

Bagwork drills help refine your technique and ability. We use a range of bag work exercises from shields to focus mitts to practice and develop your endurance, accuracy, speed, power and footwork.

PATTERNS

Patterns (Hyungs) are a set of attacking and defending movements at different directions. Each rank has a new pattern. Practising patterns helps us focus on our technique and develop accuracy and precision.

MEDITATION

Developing a strong mind is just as important as a strong body. Meditation increases awareness, focus, and discipline.
